NTHAS6 has been successfully finished.

The 6th Japan-Korea Symposium on Nuclear Thermal Hydraulics and Safety (NTHAS6) has been successfully held in Bankoku-Shinryokan, Okinawa Japan.
We hope the symposium will generate strong cooperation between Korea and Japan for the future of nuclear engineering.

About the Symposium

Japan and Korea are two leading countries designing and building nuclear power plants in Asia. With a view to contributing to the nuclear system performance with enhanced safety, the Thermal Hydraulics Divisions of the AESJ and the KNS initiated a biennial symposium program across the sea: Korea-Japan Symposium on Nuclear Thermal Hydraulics and Safety (NTHAS). Ever since the first symposium (NTHAS1) was held in Busan, Korea in 1998, NTHAS continues to provide with a unique forum to exchange state-of-the-art technical information and to interact amongst colleagues from next-door countries. The second to fifth meetings were held in Fukuoka (2000), Gyeongju (2002), Sapporo (2004) and Jeju (2006) with great success in technical quality and multitude of participants. This year, the Sixth International Symposium on Nuclear Thermal Hydraulics and Safety (NTHAS6) will be held in the island of Okinawa, JAPAN. The symposium venue is the beautiful Bankoku-Shinryokan, where the G8 summit was held in 2000. The official language of the symposium will be English.
